For Justin, this journey has always been about learning new skills. It all started by learning how to build furniture without the use of power tools, using traditional tools and techniques. He gradually found my way into leatherwork and started developing the skills to produce a variety of leather goods from handbags to wallets. Justin honed his skills through practice, not formal education.

Justin Starr Studio was started in 2019 to make what he was passionate about his career.  Making handbags from leather and canvas was not in the original plan; it just happened. His focus is on using traditional tools and techniques to produce high-quality goods.
